Join me next Thursday 4/2 at @animamundiapothecary Join me next Thursday 4/2 at @animamundiapothecary for a Sound Healing + Breathwork Journey focused on embodying yin energy—a more relaxed, slowed down state of being.

In a world that can be overstimulated with an upsurge in information through technology, conversations or the media, that sense of overstimulation can often lead to mindless execution or doing just for the sake of productivity.

Balancing the yin and yang invites you to slow down, relax the nervous system and receive clarity so that the doing and execution can be more aligned, precise and intentional.

These moments of slowing down the mind and body allow for internal recalibration to take place so that you can return to a state of peace, harmony and balance from deep within.

🌱This is your invitation to experience:

󠁯•󠁏󠁏 Breathwork to gently release any stagnant or stuck emotions
󠁏󠁏󠁯•󠁏󠁏 Sound healing to support full-body relaxation and nervous system restoration
󠁯•󠁏󠁏 A safe space for collective healing and transformation

Where there is beauty in the sacred pause, there is more mastery in the forward momentum.

🌿 Theme: Full Moon Detox - Restoring Yin Energy
📍 Anima Mundi Apothecary in Brooklyn, NY
🗓 April 2
🕕 7-9PM

This experience offers a moment to receive, restore and balance.

Gratitude is a powerful way to realign with the ab Gratitude is a powerful way to realign with the abundance of infinite possibilities available in this moment which includes the possibility that your most optimal and radiant health exists in the here and now.

When you recognize your physical vessel being an outward expression of your unique essence while remembering the interconnectedness that lays within each internal system working in perfect harmony with another as well as the whole of you being part of something much larger and cosmic, you might entertain the idea that your existence is nothing short of a miracle.

So often, the world will try to enforce outdated ways of being including attaining goals that involve one having to shift this outward expression into someone different in order to fit the mold of what might be too small or unaligned to contain one’s authentic core.

Human goals aren’t wrong. It’s just that when you see yourself as distinctly created in your divine design, there’s less of an inclination to try to fit someone else’s definition of health, success and happiness.

As you remember that you are both an individual and a member of a greater whole — humanity, the cosmos and infinite intelligence — you start to move and operate differently.

You’re no longer one in 8.3 billion.

You remember that you are one of the 8.3 billion.

Returning to the original blueprint doesn’t mean ignoring needs on the earthly plane or at the material level. It means coming home to the authentic essence of who you have been so that infinite creative potential can flow through your body and instead of blindly subscribing to the status quo, you are purposefully and intentionally designing the sacred gift that is your life — as one of the 8.3 billion.

Before form and matter, there was pure sound, freq Before form and matter, there was pure sound, frequency and vibration.

We often turn to music because music makes us feel a certain way and feeling is an essential component to the healing journey. Without feeling safe in the nervous system to process certain emotions, mental awareness can only go so far while former trauma may remain lodged in the body in the form of cellular memories or trapped emotions.

The human body is made of more water than solid matter and emotions are closely linked to the element of water. When emotions are held onto instead of moving in a gentle ebb and flow, it can be felt as “emotional weight.” When emotions are able to flow like water, you generally tend to feel lighter and calm.

Sound healing can be an effective modality for soothing the nervous system and slowly guiding the brain into slower, relaxed states where deep relaxation and healing can take place. This combined with the ability of instruments such as singing bowls to create physical vibrations that travel through fluids can help to release stuck emotions and emotional tension.

Through bypassing the thinking mind, one can benefit from releasing unprocessed emotions related to prior trauma while feeling a sense of safety and calm in the body as the gentle sounds can help to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and restore harmony in the mind and body.

Some of the common effects following sound healing sessions include gaining newfound clarity, feeling calm in the body, and experiencing an emotional release. Following the sessions, the healing can continue to work to subtly reorganize the body’s internal vibrations back to balance and harmony—our natural state of alignment, peace and wholeness.

The beauty of nature lies in mother earth’s organi The beauty of nature lies in mother earth’s organic ability to bring a sense of calm and peace into the body. By spending time in natural environments, the nervous system is able to exhale and release the residues of an extended fight-or-flight response so that the parasympathetic nervous system can also fulfill its function which is to slow the heart rate down and bring the body back to internal balance.

Nature has an impact on physical and psychological well-being. Studies have shown that regular exposure to natural environments can help to regulate the nervous system by lowering cortisol and the heart rate. Nature also offers space for grounding by helping us become more attuned to our senses as we notice different sights and sounds.

As these shifts happen, health can be impacted on a physiological level as well as mental and emotional. By being in nature, you start to feel interconnected and that sense of interconnectedness deepens your connection to yourself and the planet.

Underneath the journey of striving to become more, nature is a gentle and powerful reminder that by cultivating self-awareness and getting to know the authentic version of yourself, there is less striving to shift identities into who you think you need to be. Instead, there begins a journey of honoring the true self that naturally unfolds when the self-imposed limitations and inauthentic layers of any outdated identities are stripped away.

Much like preservation of the natural environments, preservation of the authentic self is important for a person’s wellbeing because in the journey back to the authentic self, you may become unrecognizable to many but you become familiar with yourself as you return to your core nature before any external conditioning, grooming and construction took place.
